Confidential Principles of Council Settlement. May 9, 2008. This document outlined the compensation for Mayor Young and Councillor Johnston's personal legal fees. It was later released June 6, 2012 by order of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario. To read the document click HERE.

Council Position Taste of Tuscany. May 30, 2012. Council ordered the release of the May 9, 2008 document, as well as the separate legal report by Aird & Berlis. It directed the Gala Fund to be reimbursed $58,000 that was used on the Town's $47,000 legal fees for the Sharon Tree-Cutting Incident and the $11,000 paid to Mayor Young and Councillor Johnston for their personal legal fees. Council then requested that those personal legal fees be paid back to the Town. To read the document click HERE
